Potty Training for Puppy Dog
|
|
Dog training - Dog training is the process of teaching a dog to exhibit certain desired behaviors in specific circumstances. Some examples are:
Toilet training - Toilet training (or potty training) is the process of weaning a young child off diapers (nappies) and training him or her to use the toilet for urination and defecation. Potty training is usually done between the ages of eighteen-months and three years.
Crate training - Crate training is the process of teaching a dog to go into its crate on command and to be comfortable there while enclosed. Dogs, like all canines, are den-dwelling animals by instinct and a crate becomes a den substitute, providing a familiar and safe haven for the dog.
The Puppy's Further Adventures - On May 6, 1978, the ABC Weekend Special aired a version of The Puppy Who Wanted a Boy, a children's book by Catherine Woolley about a young dog who attached himself to a lonely orphan boy named Tommy. Over the next four years, The Puppy and its three sequels, which used various actors’ voices for Petey the puppy, were repeatedly shown on the Weekend Special.
